OLIVE Mason organised an outing to the gardens at Bryans Ground, Presteigne, and Stockton Bury, Leominster.
At the August 10 meeting, Rob and Diane Cole told about the hard work involved in setting up their nursery at Meadow Farm, entitling their talk "The Birth of a Dream".
While setting up the nursery, they continued their business of growing thousands of hardy perennials and also designed and planted their own garden.
The next meeting, at Chaddesley Corbett village hall, will be on Wednesday, September 14, 7.30pm for 8pm start, when Duncan Straw, of Perhill Nurseries, Great Witley, will talk about late perennial plants.
Visitors are always welcome at meetings.
