WORCESTER Wolves can go joint top of the National Basketball League Division One if they beat Bath Romans tonight (7pm).

Wolves will be going for their third successive win in the clash at University College Worcester, and will be full of confidence after defeating Bath twice in the National Trophy group stages last month.

But player-coach Rick Solvason is warning Wolves against complacency, particularly as Bath have won all three league matches so far to jointly lead the table with Westminster.

He said: "We have had a good couple of wins and have had success against Bath already this season, but I don't want us to take it for granted that we will win.

"At practice the other night we got together and tried to reiterate how important it is to be focused on this game.

We have let ourselves down at times this season and we will be trying to avoid that.

"Bath have a good coach and a good side, and they will be very confident after their three league wins.

"We have to go out and do the things we have done in the last couple of weeks, and if we do that we will be very confident."

Solvason will be looking for a repeat of the display that saw them defeat North-West London 104-90 last week.

"It was a very good performance by all the players, and even the guys that didn't get on were being very supportive on the bench," he said.

Ben Livingston is Wolves' only doubt after going down with 'flu this week, but Solvason is hopeful he will be fit.
