HUNDREDS of people descended on Pershore for an exhibition of fruit stones and other artefacts from Henry VIII's flagship, the Mary Rose.
Visitors and members of the Pershore & District Royal Naval Association were thrilled with Wychavon District Council's bank holiday Monday event, held at the club.
Chairman Ted Annis said: "It was a great day for Pershore," he said.
"We were all thrilled to see the artefacts and were packed out throughout day."
Among the attractions were records of Evesham diver called Barry Smith, who worked on the ship when it was discovered.
