Soot-stained faces and flat caps are the order of the day at the Upton Peppercorns latest production of Oliver!
A 35-strong cast will perform Dickens' classic tale of young orphan Oliver Twist at 7.30pm on Thursday to Saturday, September 8-10 at Upton Memorial Hall.
Oliver is played by Jordan Richards, and Isabell Henderson takes the role of Fagin. Laurence Aspill and Zac Buckle take turns as the Artful Dodger, Leoni Allen plays Nancy and Jack Tomkins appears as Mr Bumble.
Group spokesman Porla Hickman said: "The show is great because it gives everyone the chance to play a role."
Tickets are £5 each and available from Upton Post Office or from Mrs Hickman on 01684 591392.
