WELLAND Juniors will be hosting a friendly U12s tournament at Upton sports pavilion tomorrow (Saturday) as part of the town's funday and picnic event.
Welland will play against Newtown Sports Colts, Northside Colts and Pershore Town with matches starting at 1pm.
Welland junior non-league team managers are reminded to attend the meeting tomorrow (Saturday) morning at Welland with regard to football club recommencing on Spittle Field on Saturday, September 10. Anyone interested is welcome to come along at 10am, or phone Don on 01684 310109.
On Sunday, Welland's new U18s team, who compete in the Stourport League, have their first home game at The Hill Centre, against Hanbury, kick-off 2.30pm.
Next weekend the Mercian League will be in action with mini soccer at Upton sports pavilion on Saturday morning, Welland U9s v Leigh & Bransford Badgers Albion, and 11-a-side matches on Sunday afternoon starting with the U14s welcoming Newtown Sports Juniors.

The first league game on the new Spittle Field pitch will be on Sunday, September 18, Welland U12s v Worcester Juniors, kick-off at 2.30pm.
