The 60th VJ anniversary sing-along in Welland Village Hall on Saturday, August 13th raised £131 to be divided between the Burma Star Association and the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
Thank you also to Peppasound, George Bishop, Mary Purser, Lawrence Handy and Mr L Langen for their help and support in making this event possible.
There will be an afternoon tea-dance every Wednesday afternoon (as from September 7), 2.30pm to 4.30pm at Welland Village Hall. Come and enjoy the dancing and have a pot of tea with home-made cakes.
