THE book of remembrance at Bosbury Church records the names of the departed whose families wish them to be remembered. The book is always on display in the church, open at the current anniversary dates. The book will be sent away at the beginning of October for further names to be inscribed. If you have a family member who had close Bosbury connections and whom you wish to remember in this way, please contact Robert Hood-Wright on (01531) 640234 as soon as possible.

Holy Trinity Bosbury is the venue for an organ recital given by Peter Dyke, assistant organist at Hereford Cathedral, on Saturday, September 10 at 7.30pm. Tickets are available on the door, adults £7.50, children £3, family £15. Interval drinks and nibbles included. In aid of church funds.

On Saturday, September 3 Bosbury Cricket Club play their final home game of the season, a crucial match starting at 2pm on the school playing fields. They would welcome your support.

Bosbury WI meet at 7.30pm at the parish hall on Thursday, September 8. Janet Rowlands will describe Roses and Castles - life on the waterways.

Preliminary notice. Bosbury Artmakers invite you to a talk on the buildings of Bosbury by J Tonkins, a renowned expert on timber framed buildings, who has visited many of the buildings in the area. All are welcome to this free, fascinating evening exploring the architectural heritage of the Bosbury locality on Tuesday, October 4 at 7.30pm at the Old Boys School.
