THE society meets six times a year, including a Christmas celebration, in the salon at Hartlebury Castle.
The talks are varied, but all feature subjects of historical or local interest.
At least one outing is arranged to a place of interest, and the group's next outing is planned for Saturday, which will be a visit to the Judges' Lodging Museum in Presteigne, Radnorshire.
There will be an opportunity to tour the 1870 gas-lit courtroom and Victorian judges' grand residence. Members and guests are requested to use their own transport, and meet at 2pm at the Lodging Museum.
Let Worcester County Museum know numbers in advance on 01299 250416.
The museum has re-opened after improvements, including a caf and an exhibition called "Food for Thought", showing Worcestershire food through the ages.
