Three trout to 2lb 8oz were landed on a hawthorn, and another angler caught two to 2lb on a daddy long legs.
On the coarse scene, the Erics Lake yielded a 38lb catfish to trout, and one angler took three carp to 22lb 8oz on pellets plus a 37lb catfish on boilies.
On the Gainsborough, one man caught catfish of 27lb and 25lb using halibut pellets, and the 26lb albino catfish was caught with trout.
Four carp to 21lb 4oz were landed by a Derby angler using pineapple pop up.
On the Stuarts margin fishing is the order of the day, with carp and chub caught on maggot and castor.
September and October are some of the best fishing months for catfish and carp. As the weather cools they stock up on food for the winter.
