Judge John Cavell adjourned the case at Worcester Crown Court against Stephen Tipper, 45, of The Birches, until Friday, October 21 for a psychological report.
Michael Aspinall, defending, said a report may influence the length of the jail sentence.
Tipper, who had been sent for sentence by Kidderminster magistrates after admitting 18 offences of making indecent photographs, was remanded on bail.
