HEALTHY eating is the theme of this month's Stourport farmers' market where visitors will also have the chance to comment on plans for the town's regeneration.
The market will open from 9am until 3pm on Sunday at the Riverside Meadows.
It will feature cookery demonstrations, a fair trade stall run by volunteers from the town's churches and a variety of vendors selling fresh produce and craft items.
Stourport Forward chairman, Derek Fradgley, said: "The market is now developing into a real community event. It is hoped that more and more local produce and vendors will become involved."
Representatives from Wyre Forest District Council will be on hand, seeking people's views on the proposed redevelopment plans.
Council officers will be at the market from 9.30am to provide information and take feedback about the designs that will link the canal basins to the heart of the town.
Anyone wishing to comment can do so by filling in response forms that will be available on the day.
A similar council roadshow event will also take place at Stourport's Civic Hall on Monday between 2pm and 8pm.
Anybody interested in holding a stall at forthcoming farmers' markets should call Derek Fradgley on 01299 825255 or Liz Durnell on 07917 326561.
