A FILM made by a Worcester director and starring a city dance company is to be shown at Birmingham's Artsfest starting this weekend.
Infirmary is a short dance film created entirely on location at the now abandoned Worcester Royal Infirmary in the city's Castle Street.
It has been made by local filmmaker Matt Dukes and stars the leading dance company Angel Dance Co Lab.
The short production fuses emotive dance, film and sound to "reveal the essence of a building in its deserted state of emptiness".
Infirmary has been presented at various events and festivals since its premiere in March this year, including three screenings at this year's successful Worcester Festival.
It has now been selected for the 2005 Artsfest in Birmingham and will be screened there on Saturday, September 10, at 7.30pm in the Library Theatre.
