STONE ended their Division Five season in style with an eight-wicket victory over visiting Cleobury Mortimer.
Cleobury batted first but failed to take advantage of the good wicket and stuttered along to 153 in 43 overs. Gareth Bryant took 3-20.
Stone's openers, Pete Harler (39) and James Batsford (76no) put on 90 for the first wicket as Stone cruised home, getting the required runs in 27 overs.
On Sunday Stone were beaten by their visitors, Himbleton, by 105 runs.
Batting first Himbleton rattled up a huge score of 297-5 with J Critchlow 125nio and Pete Rogers 80, sharing a stand of 185.
Gary Bourke returned the best bowling figures for Stone, with 3-46.
Stone's innings was soon in trouble as they were 27-3 at one stage. An innings of 62 from Dan Edwards, his best for the club, and 39no for Bob Batsford gave the total some respectability, as Stone ended on 192-7.
