A Malvern school has emerged with flying colours from its latest Ofsted inspection.
Northleigh Primary is described by inspectors as a very good school, where pupils achieve well and have good attitudes and behaviour.
The inspection took place in July and identified no significant weaknesses. The report includes positive comments on the provision of education and pupils' progress in all subjects.
Headteacher Jean Mills said: "I'm delighted with the report's findings. I'm pleased the inspectors saw and acknowledged the high standard of education we deliver at Northleigh."
She said the report recognised that the school's high standards were achieved by teamwork between governors, teachers, parents and pupils.
The 295-pupil school on St Peter's Road, Malvern, also performed above the average in terms of the national tests for Y2 and Y6 pupils.
The school was previously inspected in 1999 and the latest Ofsted report says it has addressed all the issues raised and has made improvements since then.
The inspectors praised the school for supporting pupils with learning difficulties and said the headteacher had shown very good leadership.
The report also comments favourably on the school's good links with parents and the local community.
