Does Mrs Speare (Your Letters, August 19), who wishes to ban bonfires, realise the amount of work needed to look after even a few trees?
I have between 50-100 trees dropping twigs, leaves and dead branches. As this is a conservation area, I could not chop the trees down even if I wished to, so what does Mrs. Speare suggest?
That MHDC sends a free lorry round, with staff, to clear up?
