AS always, Bromesberrow Gardening and Social Club was well-attended at its August meeting with nearly 50 members present.

The speaker, Dudley Brook, was welcomed, representing the Malvern Hills Conservators. He gave a lively presentation and slide show, which was thoroughly enjoyed by members who asked many questions.

Elizabeth Lothan and her group of volunteers provided a variety of cakes, which were much enjoyed.

Activities in the garden for September were discussed and how to display produce and prepare items for the horticultural section in the village show on Sunday, starting at 1pm in Bromesberrow Village Hall. In addition there will also be both car boot and table top sales and cream teas will be served.

There will be a whist drive on Thursday, September 22 and a bingo session on Friday, September 23 in Bromesberrow Village Hall, both starting at 8pm.
