BASKETBALL: Bromsgrove Blaze's ladies' sides started the newly formed Worcestershire Junior League by playing each other.
In a hard fought match the Jets had the edge over their club-mates the Bullets.
Sophie Hazell and Kylie Moseley gave the Jets a flying start with good shots , while Amie O'Meara was solid in defence.
Carys Norman, Lois Wilson, Alex Dallow and captain Lyndsey Rowan all played their part in the Jets' victory.
The Bullets though produced a gutsy display, with Izzie Collins and Laura Hambrook hard working in defence.
