Bride Jane Moring, of Littleheath Lane, Lickey End, shocked family and friends when she opted for a black wedding dress for her marriage to long-term partner John Sutton.
"I always wear black so I didn't want my wedding day to be any different," said the bride. "When I told people my dress was going to be black, they were all quite shocked."
Jane and John have been together 17 years and met through John's brother who went to school with Jane. The couple held their wedding at Bromsgrove Register Office, in School Drive, and had their reception at Catshill Workmens' Club.
