Sir - John Freeman (Letters, November 4) says we are to dispose of all our references to pigs, in whatever form they take, be they china, earthenware, or any other material, because we may upset the Muslims. As he says, that is a load of rubbish. I agree.
I could understand the objection if we were insisting they ate pork, but we do not. But it strikes me as being completely ridiculous if we have to hide anything remotely porcine. No one could possibly be that stupid.
