JOHN Brain will stick with a successful formula in a bid to rack up his second sensational result in a row.

Worcester Warriors tamed mighty Leicester Tigers last Friday with a storming 15-11 victory on a great night at a packed Sixways.

Brain's men are now fifth in only their second Premiership campaign after four wins from six games with the mammoth Leicester triumph proving an early-season highlight.

Worcester head north to leaders Sale Sharks tonight (8pm), looking to turn over a multi-talented outfit who are three points ahead of second-placed Wasps.

And director of rugby Brain will not tinker with his side who, like Sale, have lost just one Premiership encounter.

Sale head coach and former Worcester player Kingsley Jones said: "This will be a tough game for us. Any team that beats Leicester Tigers deserves respect.

"We have a proud home record to defend. This is a big challenge but the players are looking forward to the game.

"Last season at Worcester the capacity crowd was like playing an extra man and we know our supporters will be in good voice as they always are."

Stand-in skipper Tony Windo will again lead Warriors, who have won their last four matches, into battle tonight in the absence of Pat Sanderson who has his own mission in trying to help England turn over Australia tomorrow.

Prop Chris Horsman is also missing as he plays for Wales against Fiji, while hooker Chris Fortey will bid to fight off competition from new signing Gavin Hickie who will not be involved.

Sale, who won 17-11 at Leeds last Saturday, suffered their only Premiership defeat on September 10 with a narrow 21-18 loss at Gloucester.

Although Warriors beat Sale 23-10 at Sixways last season, the nightmare visit to Edgeley Park, also home of Stockport County Football Club, was one they will be desperate to make up for.

The team were thrashed 57-3 in September 2004 with Brain admitting his players had been handed a "drubbing".

Warriors' only points were kicked by James Brown who finds himself on the bench tonight due to the impressive form of Shane Drahm who kicked all 15 points against Leicester.

Warriors: Le Roux; Havili, Hinshelwood, Lombard, Delport; Drahm, Gom-arsall; Windo, C Fortey, Taumoepeau, Murphy, Gillies, Horstmann, Tuamoheloa, Hickey. Reps: MacDonald, L Fortey, Blaze, Vaili, Powell, Brown, Tucker.
