HAVING moved here six weeks ago, I bought a copy of the Malvern Gazette and read with great interest the letter by Alistair Macmillan (Your Letters, October 28) concerning senior management on Malvern Hills District Council.
Would somebody from the council care to explain why it has had to increase the number of officers earning between £50,000 and £90,000 per annum from four to ten in just three years, when Wychavon has six officers paid over £50,000 and with far more people to look after?
As a new Council Tax-payer, I would be pleased to have an explanation.
