SIXTEEN-year old Ben Tebby has passed his driving test at the first attempt . . . in a tractor.
Ben took the test as part of studies for an NVQ in land-based operations at Bredon School, near Upton.
He first drove a tractor under supervision aged 13 and is now free to take to the public roads.
"I really enjoy working on the school farm and I hope to go on to agricultural college after I finish here," he said.
Ben's efforts have impressed school farm manager Charlie Slatter.
"Ben is our first licensed tractor driver for some years," he said. "I'm sure others will now follow in his tyre tracks!"
Ben is being kept busy hauling compost as the school prepares new allotments, where pupils will learn how to grow vegetables.
