THE Wellington Heath Improvers' Duplicate Bridge Club will again be participating in the nationwide simultaneous pairs event in aid of Children in Need. This will be on Tuesday, November 15, from 2-5.15pm at the Memorial Hall. Anyone who plays standard Acol and wishes to take part will be very welcome. The fee is £1.50 but additional donations will be welcome.
On December 3, a Christmas bridge drive in aid of St Michael's Hospice will be held at the Memorial Hall at 1.30pm. Tickets are £5 and may be obtained from Betty Houlbrooke on (01531) 632728, Ann Williams 632728, Una Cosker 635640 or Neville Shorrick 633473. A delicious tea and Christmas raffle are included. All Bridge players will be very welcome.
