EVER wanted to bring a bit of the jungle to Castlemorton? Need to put in some plants to cope with the arid conditions we seem to get in summer? What can you grow, how do you grow it and will it need a second mortgage?
Andy Bateman has had a varied career in architecture, engineering and music before veering off to found Mulu, a nursery specialising exotic plants, in 1997. Castlemorton Gardening Club will meet at the parish hall on Thursday, November 17 at 7.45pm to hear him speak about using exotic and architectural plants in UK gardens. He will bring plants for sale. Non-members are welcome.
This Sunday's Remembrance Day service at St Gregory's will begin at 10.55am and be led by our lay-reader, Fiona Haines.
Advance notice of the annual autumn/Christmas coffee morning. This is on Saturday, November 26 from 10am until noon in the church. The recently presented NADFAS document will be available to peruse. Everyone welcome.
