THE search for a new Kidderminster Harriers manager is under way after Stuart Watkiss was shown the door at Aggborough yesterday.
Chairman Barry Norgrove took the decision to axe Watkiss despite Harriers' 3-1 victory over Dagenham and Redbridge last weekend.
The former Wolves and Walsall player's dismissal comes exactly one year and one week after he was appointed as Jan Molby's successor.
Martin O'Connor has been installed as caretaker boss for Saturday's trip to Conference leaders Accrington Stanley.
