COLWALL Cricket Club's junior boys won a total of 11 awards at the Herefordshire Youth Cricket awards for the season.
The roll of honour is as follows:
U10: Best batter Joe Crichard; best bowler Stevie Wilson.
U12: Best fielder Odge Davey.
U13: Best batter Tom Coleman; best bowler Sam Crichard; player of year Simon Harwood.
U16: Player of year Chris Wheeler; Best bowler Andy Lloyd; best fielder Mike King
U17: Best bowler Chris Wheeler; player of year Mike King.
Club president, Aidrian Berry, is delighted with the success and whilst congratulating all the young players he also had a special word of thanks for the coaches.
Colwall Juniors are well interegrated into the adult teams with most of the award winners playing Saturday League cricket.
Adrian said: "Chris Wheeler and Mike King were a fixture in the first team last year, we expect them to cause problems for all batsmen next season and score plenty of runs themselves. It is great that there are so many great young players coming through the system"
Colwall Junior training starts soon after the new year.
