DROITWICH-based Train 4 Security has been accepted as a member of one of the country's most prestigious learning associations.

The British Learning Associ-ation, a centre of global expertise and best practice in learning, encompasses a cross section of 320 organisations including The National Grid, John Lewis and The Home Office.

Members have to commit to a strict code of conduct to uphold the reputation of the association as well as encourage high standards of professionalism within their own organisations.

Train 4 Security - which offers courses and workshops aimed at raising the standards of corporate and individual performance within the private security industry - had to commit to the code of conduct to become a member.

Sarah Bedford, marketing and development manager at the BLA said: "We are very pleased to welcome Train 4 Security into the BLA learning community. Membership will help it develop professionally, enhance its status within their industry sector, as well as creating networking opportunities. We will also keep them up to date with the latest learning industry news."

The company aims to play an active role as members of the BLA by taking part in BLA-run industry conferences and events as well as other key learning and development initiatives.
