THE chef whose snail porridge and bacon and egg ice cream won his restaurant the title of best in the world is to sell soups and gravy in supermarkets.
Heston Blumenthal - whose Fat Duck restaurant in Bray, Berkshire, was named best in the world by Restaurant Magazine this year - agreed to produce a range of food for Conival.
Conival, which develops and markets celebrity-endorsed ready meals, plans to sell products bearing Mr Blumenthal's name in supermarkets. next year. Details of the product range have not yet been revealed.
