GROUPS in Redditch are set to cash in on a grants programme announced by Redditch Council.
The council has set aside £35,000 to support non-profit making agencies in delivering specific projects.
For the first time, councillors have selected the theme of community safety as a priority.
Mike Francis, the council's head of corporate strategy said "We want to encourage new projects which look to strengthen communities and ensure a safer environment."
Organisations have until January 6 to submit an application form, which are available from the town hall or by logging on to www.redditchbc.gov.uk
