I SAW a job advertised in the Advertiser for people to escort children with behavioural problems to school and back.
Their were three jobs at £12,000 each, the escorts would be in a taxi (probably also paid by the taxpayer) to get the children to school and back.
My questions are: Have we gone that soft on kids that some of them need two minders to get them to school and back, where no doubt they will also disrupt the learning of all the other pupils for the day?
How many other schools are providing this ridiculously over-the-top service?
How much more of taxpayers' money is going to be wasted on such extravagances in other parts of the public sector before we all realise some of the old methods and management would sort our problems out much quicker and cheaper?
I will not be voting Labour again as the private sector will very soon not be able to support the public sector without big tax hikes.
