I READ the letter "Need for a safe place to ride" (Advertiser, December 7) and wanted to say I have contacted the council on the issue of having a track built in Redditch.
I contacted them weeks ago and am hopefully awaiting a solution to having an organised and safe place to ride.
A lot of karting circuits now do mini moto nights but they are all too far away.
We need something in Redditch.
I run a internet business called SUPERPOCKETBIKES UK, www.superpocketbike.co.uk
So I have an interest in mini motos, dirt bikes, race parts and spares and I can offer the council any help it needs in setting something up.
Also, I am asking all riders of mini motos to e-mail me their details through my website for free membership of RMMC - Redditch Mini Moto Club - as I want as many people to join so I can push the council further until we get a track built.
Even an indoor circuit in a large unit would be good.
