HOW dare councillors criticise Redditch market (Advertiser, December 7) when they were instrumental in moving it from the central, traditional and popular space in Market Place to the present obscure wind tunnel.
I use the market as much as possible in order to support the traders who struggle to survive in such an unfriendly environment.
I find just standing at stalls waiting to be served is enough for me as the planners must have chosen the coldest, windiest site in Redditch - apart from the bus station that is.
Instead of finding fault, I suggest councillors move the market back to where it belongs and then both stallholders and customers will come flooding back and give us the market we used to have.
