ANGRY neighbours of a proposed business park have vowed to continue their fight against the controversial plans when they are officially submitted to planners.

The Grove Farm Residents' Voice group is concerned the 27-acre development in St John's will cause traffic, parking, flooding and environmental problems.

They have already held mass public meetings to discuss the proposals and demanded Worcester City Council took notice of their fears.

On Thursday, planners noted their concerns but still gave the go-ahead to the final stage of the proposal after making 33 alterations including protection of trees, rights of way, public open space and reduction of the height of some roofs to reduce the visual impact.

A detailed planning application is now expected to be submitted in the new year.

John Isherwood, the spokesman for the campaign group, who lives in Westlea Close, said: "It doesn't matter what changes they have made, they haven't listened to us.

"We will object when it comes up as a planning application. The traffic here is already bad and the amount this will create will simply cause mayhem here for all the residents.

"It is just totally unsuitable for the area and we will oppose this to the end."
