WEST Midlands Phones A edged out their B side 6-4 in the Bromsgrove and Redditch Table Tennis League Division One.
The B side went 3-1 up, but victories for Simon Russell (3), Roger Ellerington and Don Shillingford ensured a comeback by the A side.
Matthew Hartwell and Dave Wood won three games each as Astwood Bank defeated Barnt Green A 7-3.
Leaders Lickey Monarchs defeated Droitwich Print 8-2, with victories for Steve Hammond (3), Chris Marsden (2) and Ian Davis (2). Droitwich Tigers were beaten 10-0 by Barnt Green B.
In Division Two, Droitwich Villains beat SPSP 7-3, with wins for Mike Langston (3), Chris Tsang (2) and Sam Lloyd.
Man of the match Ian Cooper won all three games for West Midlands Phones C, but could not prevent a 6-4 loss to Bentley Terriers. Mike Kirwan (2), Dan Vernon (2) and Peter Hartles sealed Terriers' victory.
Arrow Vale B drew with its C side 5-5, Lickey Rocs defeated Droitwich Dragons 7-3, Barnt Green Hornets got the better of Bentley Nomads 9-1 and Carter Retail beat Droitwich Eagles 10-0.
