PRINCE Henry's High School's hopes of gaining a place in the last 32 of the Under-18s National Cup were dashed last week.
The Evesham side lost out to a single second half goal from Malvern visitors Chase HS.
The home side dominated the opening half but failed to make their pressure tell and they became even more frustrated as the game wore on.
And, when Chase netted from a rare attack, Henry's were spurred into even more attacking action only to be denied by a series of smart saves from the on song visiting goalkeeper.
The Prince Henry's squad, managed by Simon Price and coached by Mike Thom-pson, comprised Elliot Barrett, Will Ricketts, Ashley Powell, Pete Steadman, Dan Cott-erell, Scott Williams, Joe Mulrenan, Ben Holland, Ben Hayward, Asa Chalk, Michael Saunders, Antonio Vernaschi, Karl Boulton, Jason Peters, Jim Phelps, Paul Langstone, Jonathan Lewis and Will Tyrrell.
