Bob Watkins, former planning officer with Wyre Forest District Council spoke about the change in planning laws and how they affect the area.
He spoke of the complexity of developing sites such as Green Street and how the laws covering so-called "dirty sites" have been tightened up over recent years. It was five years since he last spoke to the group, and he said much had changed.
Meetings are held usually on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, and everyone is welcome.
