FIVE-a-side footballers in Wyre Forest could net a £1,000 prize thanks to a lucrative league being launched in Kidderminster.
The cash incentive will be up for grabs for the winning team when Leisure League kicks off at the Glades Arena in Bromsgrove Street from the end of January.
The league will be run on Sunday evenings, from 5.30pm until 7.30pm with 24 teams taking part.
It is open to five-a-side teams of any standard who want to play for fun and compete for the biggest prize in local small-sided football.
Tournament organiser Paul Smith said: "This league promises to be the biggest and best in the area. It will be run on a first come, first served basis "
