SIR - After reading the latest instalment about the wheelie bin problems, I think it's about time someone backed up the council. I live in Crickley Drive, featured in the story as the latest place to be branded a 'street of filth'.
Of course, it is not acceptable for rubbish to be piling up, but the blame lies with those who can't be bothered to use the new bins properly. Good on the council for implementing a scheme to fine people who flout the new rules. I have to sort my rubbish - why shouldn't they?
