THE Worcestershire FA, in conjunction with the County Sports Partnership and Active Sports Programme, is staging a women's only FA Level Two Coaching Course.

One of the aims is to increase the quality and quantity of female coaches in the county and the cost, therefore, has been reduced to £120.

There are also two free places available for the successful candidates who can demonstrate their outstanding commitment to coaching and developing girls and women's football in the county and they are invited to apply for a separate mentoring scheme.

Full details of this scheme and a separate application form can be obtained from Louise Thornton at Worcestershire FA.

The course consists of six full days of tuition from Monday, February 6 and will be held at the University of Worcester. In addition to the initial training period, candidates will be required to attend an assessment day later in the year n addition to Emergency Aid, Child Protection and Laws of the Game Workshops.
