COLWALL Cricket Club have announced the resignation of its long-standing treasurer, David Hallows.
David has a lengthy relationship with the Worcester Cricket League club, he and his son as players, and he has been treasurer for many years.
Club chairman Gary King said: "David always presented the financial condition of the club in an excellent and timely way. The club is in a financially very secure position."
However, after being involved with Colwall CC for some 40 years, David still has plenty to offer.
He said: "I intend to help in ways I have in the past and I will still be involved as a subscribing member and watcher."
The club is grateful for all the hard word David Hallows has put in on its behalf.
The annual Colwall CC Christmas draw was held by organiser Peter Pedlinham at his greengrocer shop in Colwall.
The first prize of £100 was won by Mr Richardson with some 50 other prizes being drawn.
