SIR - I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of the leisure centre users, clubs, associations and organisations who have supported their local public access sports and leisure centres during 2005. We have welcomed more than 450,000 users this year and have therefore improved the health, fitness and well-being of our community who visit us on a casual, pay as you play basis or who are committed members.
I would also like to thank the users and members who have provided constructive feedback to help improve the service. This is valued highly by myself and the rest of the team at Leisure Connection and it helps us in our mission to continually improve the facilities and services that we offer to you.
