SIR - As a loyal City fan who travels home and away for most games over a season, I would like to thank all involved at the Lane for the super shows they put on.
But I was saddened to see that when I looked around the ground at the advertising boards, I noticed that there was one board missing - and that was npower. I was just wondering why npower can sponsor the local cricket and rugby team plus the national cricket team along with other sides, but the football club that needs as much money as possible gets nothing. Wouldn't it be nice if npower gave the club free electricity for 12 months?
