PERSHORE Town have appointed former Littleton manager Andy Robbins.

Robbins takes charge for the first time tomorrow when Pershore travel to Shifnal Town (noon) in the Midland Combination Premier and will look to field five new signings.

Pershore, struggling in the league's bottom eight, required a new boss following the resignation of Adam Ward, who is now playing for Bromyard.

"Andy was very successful at Littleton," said Pershore chairman Graham Merchant. "He was there for five years and took them from the Worcester League into Midland Combination Division One.

"He's experienced and I think he will lift the club. Hopefully, we will see a more local football club, with more young lads from Pershore coming through. If we can finish half-way up the league this season and push on next season, that will be great."

Archdales '73 and Littleton contest a Division One derby at Claines Lane (2pm).

Pegasus Juniors head to high-flying North Leigh tonight in the Hellenic League Premier Division (7.30).

In West Midlands League Division One tomorrow, Malvern Rangers entertain Hinton and Malvern Town Reserves tackle Ludlow Town Reserves.
