THE future of Bromyard Ambulance Station is concerning town councillors.
Plans to close the station and move it to Froome Bank Hospital were mooted last month, but at a meeting last week town council chairman Gill Churchill said she was not sure what was happening.
She said Hereford and Worcester Ambulance Service NHS trust chief executive Russell Hamilton had cancelled two meetings with the council and she would insist he kept the next appointment on January 12.
Trust spokesman Jenny Proctor said it was hoping to relocate stations in both Bromyard and Ledbury but did not have definite dates or locations.
She said the service was talking to primary care trusts, but the move was not something that would happen overnight.
"When there is any specific news, obviously we'll be talking to councils," she said.
