KWIK Save supermarket and its 30 employees are facing an uncertain future in Malvern.
Planning permission was last week granted for extension and alteration of the Kwik Save building at Spring Lane, Malvern Link, paving the way for Focus DIY to relocate from the Roman Way retail park.
Malvern Retail Park owners Hercules Unit Trust recently acquired the lease for the Kwik Save site and in October applied for planning permission to relocated the Focus superstore and garden centre.
It is not known if Kwik Save will look to relocate locally.
Press officer Julie Daniels said: "Whether we stay in the building is completely up to the building's owners.
"Until we receive any solid dates, we would not have a contingency plan."
