A DRIVER is fighting for his life after a crash at Callow End on Friday, December 23.
The accident happened on the B4424 at about 10.30pm and involved a VW Polo travelling in the Upton direction and a Jeep Cherokee going the other way.
Firefighters cut the driver of the Polo free before he was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital. He was later transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, where his condition yesterday (Thursday) was described as critical but stable.
Neither the female driver of the Jeep nor her passenger was hurt.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash.
They particularly want to hear from a driver who flashed his headlights to warn oncoming motorists of the crash.
Anyone with information is urged to call 08457 444888.
