A 150-metre section of hedge will removed to make way for a new driveway at Duckswich Farm in Upton.
Planning permission for the vehicle access on to Welland Road was granted by Malvern Hills District Council's southern area development control committee.
Councillors accepted that the loss of the hedgerow would be balanced by the fact that the new access would be safer, giving better visibility on a stretch of road that has a history of serious accidents. A new hedge will be planted.
The application also includes a new garage, garden store and oil store to replace existing outbuildings.
