THIS springer spaniel is the fourth of our 12 dogs of Christmas.
The Worcester News and Danemere Animal Rescue have joined forces to bring you animals that have been abandoned or handed in to the centre, in Tibberton, near Droitwich.
They have all found themselves homeless at Christmas and desperately need a fresh start for 2006.
Trent has a big heart and a big appetite and was discovered running in woods near the centre.
Kennel superviser Dave Lannie said: "He was a little bit underweight when he was brought in, but apart from that has obviously been well looked after.
"Why nobody has claimed him is a mystery, because he seems like a nice dog."
Trent is believed to be about one or two years old and is great with people, but not very good with other dogs.
Mr Lannie said that if he was to go to a home with another dog, it would be important for the owners to introduce them to one another first, to ensure that they got along.
