THE president Barbara Maskell welcomed members to the December meeting. She thanked Christine Kendrick and her birthday committee for a wonderful evening of entertainment in November.
Forthcoming events were announced including the lunch club on Wednesday, January 11, at the Jinney Ring and on Tuesday, February 7, at the Leaking Well both meeting at 12.30pm.
Christine Hickman-Smith gave details of a monthly craft meeting to be held in the village hall. The list of dates were provided and the sessions would start at 7.30pm.
The results of skittles matches were reported by Joyce Rowthorn. The ongoing competition will continue in the New Year.
The evening continued with three Chaddesley Corbett members, Heather Winsper, Bridget Snealley and Christine Hickman-Smith, demonstrating various crafts. Everyone was most impressed with their expertise.
The next meeting will be held at the village hall today (Wednesday).
