A NINE-YEAR-OLD from Broadway has been crowned a European kick boxing champion.
Jack Witts was successful at a tournament at Perdiswell Leisure Centre when he fought seven times to earn the prestigious crown in his size and weight category.
The pupil at Broadway First School has only been in training for 12 months and the success was "beyond expectations".
Coached by Kevin Andrews at Winchcombe, the youngster has also earned his spurs at a class in Cheltenham. And, it's that dedication over the past year that has earned him the coveted championship trophy.
